Event Marketing, Member Engagement

AMP was initially brought on by WERC to increase conference attendance, and after our first success we went on to become the organization’s full-service marketing partner, managing websites, social, email and more.

Integrated Association Marketing Campaign

The Warehousing Education and Research Council (WERC) is a North American association that represents and supports the warehousing and logistics professionals who store and move the things we use every day. The organization initially sought us out for conference marketing support, but eventually leveraged the AMP team in all aspects of marketing.

A Project Team Approach

Our unique project team approach allowed us to get up to speed fast and to function like an extension of WERC’s internal team. AMP led the development of a marketing strategy that focused on issues that really matter to warehousing and logistics professionals, then tied these key issues to WERC’s education program. We then leveraged multiple channels to get the message out, including social media, email, direct mail, partnership marketing and web marketing. We reversed the trend, and WERC started growing again.

Integrated, Wrap-Around Support

Like many small- and medium-sized organizations, WERC was punching above its weight. AMP came alongside to provide support precisely where needed, similar to an in-house marketing team. Members of the AMP team consolidated overwhelming member emails into a single newsletter, restructured their sponsorship offering, produced a media kit, marketed several conferences and supported the weekly and monthly preparation of social media, emails, and websites.

AMP has been an excellent partner in helping WERC realign its convention and membership marketing efforts.
