Communications Agility & Impact Self-Assessment

A quick, 10-minute check-in for federal communications, marketing, and event leaders.

In today’s federal environment, expectations keep rising — but resources and processes don’t always keep pace. You’re asked to deliver more engagement, more transparency, and more meaningful events, often with the same staff, the same budget, and the same procurement constraints.

This short self-assessment is designed for directors and managers in the Government of Canada who oversee communications, marketing, events, or stakeholder engagement. It will help you reflect on:

  • How quickly your team can move from idea to execution
  • How efficiently you use the resources and content you already have
  • How effectively you partner with nonprofits, Crown corporations, and other departments
  • How well your events and campaigns reflect modern expectations for hybrid access, inclusion, and sustainability

The assessment has 4 segments and 12 questions. It’s not a test — it’s a tool to help you see where you’re strong, and where small changes could make a meaningful difference.

All responses are treated as confidential.
